Cambridge Portfolio Project Week 1- #1

HELLO!!! and welcome to my blog. As I start to transition into a new project my blog will consist of posting about my journey through it. My big new project is a Film Opening! I'm very excited to share all of the work with you. Before talking about my plans, I'd like to share some of the parameters required for this project.

List of requirements:

- The runtime must be under two minutes

-It must be completely new fiction made me be and my group mates

-It must include a title for the movie and credit everyone involved in the production

-All images must be made by my team

- No copyright can be included

I've included my notes of film openings. These notes helped me grasp the concept of the project. I learned how to use certain element to help establish tone, setting, characteristics. The notes overall expanded my film knowledge.

With all these parameters in mind me and my group members have a lot of work cut out for ourselves. My group is the same as my recent music marketing project. We worked very well last time and are all very attentive to detail. For this reason, I know we will be successful in this huge endeavor.

I have a lot of ideas for the project but knowing it can only be two minutes and open ended makes me very conflicted. It being a film opening means the project has to seem like there's entire story left to watch. To account for this the story needs to be easily conveyed in such a short time. This will be the most challenging aspect for me, but I know once it's all done, I'll be proud of it.

I've always wanted to make a big film project like this. I'm glad to finally start one. I know it is very daunting to have to research, formulate an idea, write a script, film, and edit. I have a lot to start on, so I'll meet you in the future!
